A “Christian” student in Fayetteville was offended by an assignment that would’ve required her to write about a deal with the devil, based on Washington Irving’s short story “The Devil and Tom Walker.” Her parents and she were offended by an age-old literary motif. No other news channel in the area cared but WTVD.

Dear three people who unfollowed me,
I wish my life was more exciting right now. I’m trying to leave this cesspool of a small city I live in NC for NYC to pursue my dreams.
